Mentioned a grand total of four times in the singular, and once in the plural, by only one writer (John, but not in Rev.).
Daniel talks about him, Nebuchadnezzar is a type of him, Adonijah is a type of him, Paul refers to the man of lawlessness being revealed after the restrainer steps aside. The Antichrist literally means "counterfeit" Christ. Every book in the New Testament teaches us how to identify the genuine Christ.

Honestly, if I'm not welcome here, a moderator should just say so and I won't darken the doorway again.
They do tell you when you have violated some rule. We do not speak because we are popular, we speak because we are witnesses of the Lord's and of the great things God has done.

So far I've heard nothing from them, but the welcome mat has certainly been removed by some

Think of it as a trial. Exercise longsuffering. Pray for them. And ask God that your patience and gentleness may be the means of promoting His kingdom.

We cannot change what other people do or think, we can only change what we do.

Iron sharpens iron. I'm not looking for an echo chamber.
And yet when the iron happens to catch a little flesh you take offense. If you go where the swords have been brandished, there are likely to be knicks and cuts.

Nicks and cuts don't bother me. I'm secure in what I believe, but also aware enough to change when convinced. It's happened many times before. I'm also aware enough to see when I'm not welcome. I'm not certain which is the case here

Hence my original post to you.
Your more than welcome here and if I haven't already communicated it...welcome.
This is like most Christian sites I've been on. There are alot of really nice people here. There are a number of good teachers, a couple who are really good. In full, it's an amalgamation of mostly Christians at various stages of understanding and places in their walks.

That's works for me, and if that's mostly the case it's all good. My replies have been to one who didn't want to discuss, and two who want me to shut up and listen for some unknown period of time. It was to them I was responding, not to you.

I was following the conversations. That's why I chimed in. That's too common here and I have experienced the same. But you'll figure out who's who and their levels of understanding and spirituality and which conversations are worthy of pursuit and which aren't.

NightTwister, you are more than welcome, and I am personally welcoming you at this time. Don't allow negativity to crowd you out. There are kinds of people on this forum.

I appreciate that. It's never easy when coming to a new place. I'm not one to stay where I'm not welcome, but it seems there's only a few.

Just because the term "the Antichrist" is not scattered throughout the Bible does not mean that he is not presented under other names and descriptions. So that is a specious argument. Have you heard of "the Beast" in Revelation 13, and "the Man of Sin" "the Son of Perdition" "that Wicked" in 2 Thessalonians 2? Should we go on?
