Yes. That's what I believe. You yourself believe he is already guilty.
Yes, I do believe that, but that is not relevant to the criminal charges. I am not on the jury, so it makes no difference what I believe about his innocence or guilt.

BTW, since the charges against him are being debated in New York it makes no difference what people in DC (or anywhere else) believe.

He has charges pending on 4 fronts.
N. Y. Is no different from D.C. in hatred of Trump.
Most Democrats, like you, believe Trump is guilty already so there is no presumption of innocence. Ergo, he cannot get a fair trial by constitutional standards.

This is nonsense. Are you saying that people should be prohibited from forming opinions?

Again -- must I repeat myself? -- I am not on the jury (nor I you). You are hyper-exaggerating with "ergo, he cannot get a fair trial".

Perhaps JTB, who started the thread, should be imprisoned for titling the thread "Trump, the false prophet"?

What I'm saying is that a jury pool in any major US city is made up of more people who believe as you do. And those who have already determined that Trump is guilty cannot view the facts of the case fairly if there is no presumption of innocence.
I'm not pointing to you as a potential jury member. I'm using you as an example of what the jury pool will predominantly consist of, i.e. people who believe as you do. And I don't believe even if the facts show that Trump is innocent that a group of Democrat jurors will acquit him.

Which shows your bias. You want him tried and don't even know what the evidence is.
Why are you acting as the thought police? People can think whatever they want, at least until people like you take over.

Blah, blah, blah. You are making nonsensical statements, based on you personal view of humanity. Why do you think that everyone is as closed-minded and biased as you are?

I don't care what people think. But their preconceived thoughts do bias them. I'm not telling anyone what to think or not. I'm just relating what it might mean for a trial.

Clearly, your preconceived thoughts bias you. You are clearly trying to tell people what to think.

Yup. Most Democrats (according to polls) can't even figure out a fraudulent election when it's blatantly obvious (e.g. there are more votes than registered voters). No hope for them acting properly as jurors in a criminal trial.

So you believe the lies "hook, line, and sinker". Tell me, what is your standard of truth?

As with most trump supporters, truth is what they think it is. you can put it right in front of them and they'll still choose to be ignorant.

Blah blah blah pretty much sums it up.

That's why I really don't try these days.

It's of real interest to me how Trump has convinced people to be hateful, dishonest, intolerant at best, violent at worst. I remember when Republicans used to have values: limited government, self-determination, minimum taxation, fiscal restraint, strong (anti-Soviet) defense, etc. Now it has turned into a hoard of extremists who invent ways of cheating, lying, stealing, being abusive to any and all who disagree with them, and worse. They elected a President who cozied up to Vladimir Putin and Kin Jong-un, two of the most violent, corrupt dictators on the planet, among other grievous sins.

I remember well the days of Eisenhower, Reagan, Nixon (even), the Bush guys, McCain, and others who were decent people (even though I didn't agree with their politics entirely). Now, the party has turned into a bunch of angry extremists who have no moral compass. They are vicious, undisciplined brutes who are trying to make the US into a quasi-Soviet "might-makes-right" dictatorship.

It is sad and disgusting. What has happened to the "Grand old Party"?

You are talking in recent times about the GORP(Grand Old Rino Party) that has acquiesced to an insane liberal agenda that has the economy on the brink of collapse, the moral estate of the nation at its lowest point ever, and has us positioned geopolitically on the brink of another World War. They are just as guilty as any liberal for the sad state of affairs.

I think you should weep over your own party... the data does not lie. They are done. Their woke policies are destroying the country and the economy is headed towards a deeper recession than 2008. Their irresponsible policies will not be forgotten by the electorate.

1) residential investment dropping 26.7 percent!
2) home affordability has fallen to the lowest level in that metric’s history!
3) drop in real disposable income fell over $1 trillion in 2022s, this is the second-largest percentage drop in real disposable income ever, behind only 1932, the worst year of the Great Depression
