Honestly, I can't live without your food, people...I have just had Chicken tikka masala, pilau rice and naan, from my local Indian restaurant, it's so delicious. 😇

Best cuisine ever invented and ordered by God...in my opinion.

Us brits have the measly fish and chips and a few pies...nothing to shout about.

My favorite Indian restaurant shut down not too long ago .

Butter chicken with naan bread and vegetable samosas with mango chutney no more .:censored::cry::cry::cry::censored:

It was family run and I would drive seventy blocks just to get there to pick up take out...

I have taken several visiting family members there and had many wonderful sit-downs with friends as well.

I loved their dahl in the all-you-can-eat vegetarian buffet. That's what I would normally go for, while
those I was dining with heaved sighs of relief to realize there was meat available on the menu LOL

About twenty some odd years ago those vegetable samosas were $0.25 each!

The last time I got some there they had gone from $1.00 to $1.25...

Indian restaurants allow for varying degrees of temperature, meaning, they often ask,
how would you like it? Medium, mild, or spicy? Always best if unsure to opt for mild,
because even that may be quite hot and spicy to your palette! But yum yum yum, so tasty!

Ha ha too funny! But it also depends on the dish. Something like
samosas can be quite mild and not really hot/spicy much at all.
I can easily make a meal of samosas with mango chutney. It's
mostly potatoes in a baked flour encasing, like a large dumpling.

Upstairs from my former martial arts school used to be the best Indian Restaurant. Any dish was delicious. The goat cheese was very good, desserts too. Now I make my own. I'm not the best cook, but not the worst either. I like Indian beans far more than large beans we eat in America. Moong Dal, etc. are excellent with everything. I mix my own curries most of the time and use garlic.
I better stop right there because I'm getting hungry.

I think Hindus are generally vegetarian. Butter chicken, beef curry, chicken kabobs, are Arab style dishes.
