    Salvation is a Free Gift.

Free yes, but that doesn't mean that we have no part in it nor that we are nor obligated to do our part on order to obtain the free gift. It requires us to 1. Believe 2. Confess our belief 3. Repent 4. Be baptized into Christ

    There will be no Rapture!!!

No such thing as the Rapture found in scripture. And, Revelation was addressed to the 7 churches of Asia 2000 yrs ago and the scripture says these things must shortly come to pass. What did it mean to THEM? What does it really mean to us??

    Baptism

Agreed. Just read Acts 2:38 and other scriptures bear this out. Upon being baptized into Christ, you receive the gift of the Holy Spirit or Ghost. You're not really baptized by it, but rather, baptized into it which is the body of Christ, the church. The baptism of the Spirit is a bit different...

    Baptism

Only one way. Follow what the word itself means. It's not a translated word, but transliterated from the Greek word 'baptizo' which means to dip, plunge, immerse. That's your answer.

Did John really write Revelation while on Patmos? Maybe not.

No it doesn't really matter, but most people simply assume Rev was written by john while on Patmos.

Did John really write Revelation while on Patmos? Maybe not.

That's pretty much it. Does it matter? No, but it's simply a point of view contrary to popular belief, and predicated upon a careful look at the words used which most people tend to gloss over here and likewise elsewhere. The simplest of words could have significant implications. There are far...

Did John really write Revelation while on Patmos? Maybe not.

The whole point is, contrary to popular belief, that maybe Revelation wasn't written while John was in exile on Patmos, that it might have been written after his exile ended there, and a couple clues are those that I mentioned, namely, the wording of Rev 1:9, and Rev 10:11.

Did John really write Revelation while on Patmos? Maybe not.

Yes, he WAS on Patmos and recorded the VISIONS as he saw them and as was told to do, but the complete Revelation scripture is not just the visions.

Did John really write Revelation while on Patmos? Maybe not.

You can't say 'was' doing something when you're actually doing it in real time; you're actually doing it. That makes no sense. If he was writing a letter in real time, in that letter he can't refer to the real time event as was doing it. He IS not WAS; so in the case of Rev, John, when writing...

Did John really write Revelation while on Patmos? Maybe not.

If John was in/on the isle of Patmos at the very time he was writing Revelation it makes no sense that he would refer to the very time he was writing the document, in past tense. That makes no sense. If you are doing something, regardless of what it is, at that very time you're doing it, it is...

Did John really write Revelation while on Patmos? Maybe not.

I'm simply following the words and their meaning relative to where he is abd what the common thought is on this, which doesn't add up in my view. Looks straight forward to me.

Did John really write Revelation while on Patmos? Maybe not.

Read closely Rev 1:9 9I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. Note the word highlighted, "was", that it's past tense. Why...

    Understanding Matthew 5:27-8

There is a lot of confusion that surfaces from time-to-time regarding the meaning and implications of Matt 5:27-28, which is predicated upon a lack of careful reading and understanding of what was actually said and the specific words used therein and their relative meaning. First of all, you...

Does this verse describe all people who are not born again?

To understand this you must understand it in its context; and to do that, you cannot just extract verse 44 and try to apply it to yourself today, but must go back to the beginning of John 8 to see who Jesus' audience was. He was speaking to the scribes and Pharisees of that day, and to other...

Are you a gentile or a member of the family of God?

What are you trying to say by this question? You can be a gentile, a non-jew, and be saved, meaning a child of God, a Christian, one who has been baptized into the body of Christ, or unsaved, a non-Christian, both of which can be a gentile.

How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! There will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people.

This has already happened as the related scriptures are describing the siege of Jerusalem in 70 A.D. not the end of the age.

Can the nonelect ever be born-again? (2 Kings 22:27) With the elect thou wilt be elect: and with the perverse thou wilt be perverted.

No. The elect are known to God beforehand based on his foreknowledge. 1 Peter 1:2 2Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

The strange wording of Isaiah 43:10

I find this wording to be very strange. See if you agree. Look at the word I've highlighted and ask yourself why it's there or if the paragraph would be sufficient without it. But with it, what is or could be construed to be inferred? I'll say no more. Isaiah 43:10 10Ye are my witnesses, saith...

    THE REAL BAPTISM

You are misunderstanding that scripture you quoted of John the baptist and thereby are misapplying it.
