The Darkest Night
We born in the cradle of war field
We lived the wounded life
We gave out our blood as sweat
We talked the horrors of war
We screamed in Agony for righteousness
We were cornered with battle
We walked through the valley of death
We dreamed for the freedom
We gave our lives for freedom
We have been sowed as the seed
We were oppressed
We were suppressed
We will be an OVERCOMER one day in Christ
We have left our generation to reap the free TAMIL EELAM, if GOD willing
Above poem voices the agony of each Tamil Eelamite who died in the most horror and planned genocide by INDIA, SRILANKA, PAKISTAN and CHINA upon Tamil Eelam people on the year 2008 and 2009. So sad to know their plights and the agony at their death.
Short History:
In Sri lanka, two ethnic groups live there – Tamil Eelam people and Sinhalese. Tamil Eelam people were the natives of the north and east settlements for centuries. During the british rule Sri lanka was made into one and when they left – power was handed over to Sinhalese.
At first Sinhalese started oppressing tamil eelam people and the Tamil people started the rights movement in a peaceful way to regain their rights. After nearly 30 long years of struggle things didn’t get well and hence it gave birth to the Armed struggle. Tamil people start retaliating the Srilankan Army with arms. Even they did ferocious things to the political people of India for betraying them, Tamil people still loves Tamil Eelam. Though I don’t support the arm struggle, it took the gravest form at last – as many innocent civilians – mostly children have been killed (nearly 100000) in a heart breaking way. INDIA was the betrayer of innocent tamil people by providing Army assistance to Srilanka. Not the least CHINA and PAKISTAN too the culprits.
We are thankful to following countries: European, Canada, Australia for their heartfelt humanitarian efforts in providing them food cloth and shelter.
kindly pray that Tamil Eelam people should get their homeland.
Thanks,
Friendz
