Here are some tips to make the most of your Christian CHAT experience.
1. Use symbols to express mood or tone or actions.

New: For most of the above expressions, you can now simply use the smileys and emoticons in the lower right hand corner of our new chat room interface.
2. Use standard chat abbreviations for more efficient chatting.

| ttyl |

3. Use ALL CAPS sparingly.
It's not against the rules, but you should know that typing in all caps is considered *shouting*. So you should probably use it sparingly. On the other hand, there may be times when you want to SHOUT FOR JESUS!!!
4. Click on a nick (in the list) to send a private message.
If you want to speak to someone privately, instead of out loud in front of everyone, simply click on the person's nick in the nick list. A private chat window will open for you.
5. Report troublemakers to the chat room monitors.
If someone says anything improper (whether in the room or in private chat with you), promptly inform a chat room monitor. To make sure that the monitor gets your message, please use private chat to report the trouble. Monitors are identified by an orange icon by their nick in the nick list. (Just click the monitor's nick to open a private chat window.)
6. Encourage one another in Him, and do everything out of love. :-)
The fellowship that we have with one another comes from the common faith we share in Jesus. Please try to build up and encourage one another in Him.
