I get a very uneasy feeling when someone tells me their sins that have not been committed "yet" are already forgiven. No, they are paid for but not forgiven until you ask for forgiveness when you sin. Of course, this leads to the "false version" [extreme Grace] of the OSAS concept.

To be clear, there's 2 versiosn of OSAS and one is false.
God by Son as risen saves, no-one else does, Therefore
Once saved by God, always saved by God. God carries on the work to work through us his children, not to be taken for granted, rather appreciated
Sealed to be Justified, by God Eph 1:13, to see Eph 1:6-7 as true for you, you,, me and all others too from God to us all through Son for us all.
I stand in this amazing grace given to me to stand in as in Col 1:21-23 Luke 21:14-15, Matthew 10:16-20 thank you
Seeing new Hebrews 7:11-12, 9:14-17
Thank you, there are many views and God knows those that take God for granted as The Corinthians did, that Paul wrote to, back then to see to repent and see this forgiveness is not meant to take for granted and abuse others as they did under the thought I am forgiven and so I can do it now remaining forgiven
So, not true to take for granted being forgiven. I read Matthew 18:24-35 and see to not take being forgiven for granted, by not forgiving others. Otherwise back to court I go righteously so

“For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

but if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:14-15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭11:25-26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty. For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.”
‭‭James‬ ‭2:12-13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall be given into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭6:36-38‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭14:10‬ ‭

“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:”

with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”

“And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭10:42‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭13:8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭21:33‬ ‭KJV‬‬

we have Gods judgement in the gospel it’s either belief or rejection

the word of God is the truth

“I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭5:32‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭13:5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”
‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭3:9‬

“And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭17:30-31‬ ‭

Repentance comes when we start acknowledging the Truth

“in meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

and that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.”
‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭2:25-26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

truth sets free

“Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
‭‭John‬ ‭8:31-32‬ ‭

when we don’t want to sin but we still find that we sinned it should bring a sorrow when we acknolwedge it

“For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭7:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

If we’re sorry for our sin it’s godly sorrow if we’re sorry because we didn’t get our way it’s worldly

everything in the gospel is geared towards men accepting the thing Jesus taught because they will bring us to repentance when we find we have sinned

We repent of things we’ve already done because we acknolwedge we are guilty of it

Okay, thank you, are you judging me as not saved by God? just asking to be clear here thanks if are and if not, Salvation to be saved is between God and man seeing the only mediator between God and man, the Man Jesus the Christ that gives new life from Father God in the power of his Holy Spirit to us to tie around our necks to see to not sin and why and how by faith in the done work of Son first, thank you
Still here in the flesh that I reckon dead and am learning new in from Daddy, Father of risen Son for us all to stand in belief to, no matter what
Flesh verses Spirit of God to this day, so, I would rather de dead to that first born flesh, wouldn't you?

Who is the she in Proverbs? it is wisdom right, and a she hmm! man sees the outside as God sees the inside, thank you Father and teach me to not ever put you in a box, thank you

not in any way am I your judge or anyone else’s judge . I’m a common man in a Bible discussion forum that likes to discuss the Bible without judging each other even from two opposing points of view.

I do know who your judge and my judge is however and what he said his judgements are and what he said will save you and condemn you …..which is why I like to discuss the Bible with folks who also believe the bible in this Bible discussion forum

But no , im not a judge of anyone just someone who likes to discuss the Bible , and well , people sometimes have different ideas bout what it says than I do ….

two believers in Jesus that disagree about doctrine should t feel insulted and judged unless someone is judging them you can find judgemental people here telling others they aren’t saved

I don’t believe n anyone judging another person either saved or unsaved I believe Jesus alone has the right and authority to make that call , I’m just talking about what he said for us humans all of us th e same . to believe and be saved

Oh sorry yes I see what your saying sorry I posted in the wrong thread,.

Yes calling people a devil is also to call someone wicked.

So there for the life that in all the other apostles where listening to the life already in them.

Moses was not and this was before the cross.

So how was Jesus able to know such thing.

It must be his life exists in all people yet to be saved and also those who probably won't get saved like moses
God calls all and proven this by Son getting risen from the dead, on that third day to be here today in the Spirit of truth to us all too get told the truth and either believe it or not. God is not a tyrant a=s many people think is,
God is Love beyond measure that many do not see it yet

God only wants the best for each of us, even those n to yet in belief yet

Jeremiah 29:11

Authorized (King James) Version

11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Yes off course but still the life of Jesus lives in the unsaved to
Jesus said I am the bread of life, fullstop

Then Jesus say come to me all you who are heavy and laden.

John 1 say everything that's has been made has been made by him

This means life from life

A sin is past the moment we repent of it it’s Gods promise that he will remit our sins in Jesus name who repent and believe the gospel ….
therefore by your words of interpretation, God did not die once for all in Won for us to be saved in his risen Life to get given us once anyone believes God has risen Son back to life for us to be risen now too with him?
Either he took all sin away in his Father's sight for us or he did not! it is either done for us to appreciate or not?
You decide I am in thanksgiving and praise over this miraculous event. That I see as John Newton saw and wrote amazing grace in appreciation, not taking it for granted as the Corinthians did at first then repented of that as revealed in 2 Cor 7 Thanks

Romans 8:28

Authorized (King James) Version

28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

God sees all, me included in all the sin(s) I have done and might do again as God has continued in the grace of Son given to each person which is all people to turn to God in thankfulness and praise in being forgiven by God. Anyone new, that begins to trust to this love and mercy given them through Son for them, get to see to let go of trying to do it yourself (under Law) and start trusting God to do it through you, where you see new how to stop what you now hate that you do, and have been doing behind closed doors, one quits and takes no credit in. doing it ever doing it again God gets all the credit by Son for us, thanks
Therefore a new focus happens, whatever is true, perfect and correct upon those things focus, get out of the thought(s) of sin, thank you God is trying to purge you, waiting for you to agree with God and see new thank you
Love in mercy and truth from God to us all to appreciate and not take for granted and use it abusively, especially behind closed doors hiding
I simply need God to lead through me not me in the way as when under Law I was and God pulled me out from under Law, seeing I can't be perfect ever, God did and offers his righteousness to all by belief as in Abraham did
God knows us all and asks us to be accountable to our ignorance now made aware of sin in us to see it to trust God to rebirth us in God's spirit and Truth to us each

Well; I can't speak for everyone of course; but my natural existence
wrapped when Christ was crucified because God, in some mysterious way
that I've yet to understand, made me a joint principal in Jesus' execution
similar to how He made me a joint principal in the forbidden fruit incident
back in Genesis.

Rom 5:18-19 . .Just as the result of one trespass was condemnation for all
men, so also the result of one act of righteousness was justification that
brings life for all men. For just as through the disobedience of the one man
the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man
the many will be made righteous.

Rom 6:3 . . Don't you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ
Jesus were baptized into his death?

Rom 6:8 . . We died with Christ,

Gal 2:20 . . I am crucified with Christ

Col 3:3 . . For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.

FAQ: It makes no sense to me why folks unified with Christ in his death
should have to speak with God about the sins in their lives. I mean: Jesus
ended their lives on the cross so then why so much emphasis upon
1John 1:8-10?

REPLY: Well; it turns out that God values honesty and transparency in His
personal association with folks whose bodies are yet natural rather than
glorified; plus, Christians get their feet dirty, so to speak, and need them
scrubbed from time to time. (John 13:3-10, cf. Psalm 32)

Not accusing just calling it out as is truth in us all we all sin even after one believes God, one and may continue in it, ?Some to their shame not wanting to and some to not care. No matter, God knows who are his and who are not his and it is for each person to decide and be accountable to it.
God is good in mercy and truth to us all, that is amazing to me as I see new from God to take no credit to me to do righteously, God Father is the only one Good that I see to participate in, anyone else thank you?

You have sidestepped my question now in a multitude of creative ways. If you don't want to answer, just say so.
Because it's not my place in this matter to format judgement.

I will ask this then before I give a yay or nay response.
The unforgiven sin or sins you are referencing to. Are they a single sin or a multitude of sins that are unforgiven?

yeah …..what does the bi le say about repentance ? What did Jesus say about repentance ? The apostles what did they say about repentance ?

discussing your thoughts about other subject matter doesn’t adress what the Bible clearly teaches about repentance . Seems we’re talking about two different things

i was talking about repentance because the bi le teaches about it

“I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭13:5‬ ‭

I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭5:32‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”
‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭3:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

what does the Bible say about repentance ?

“And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭17:30-31‬ ‭

it’s when we start acknowledging the truth that it becomes effective

“in meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; and that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.”
‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭2:25-26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Repentance is essential believing the gospel also essential for instance forgiving others is essential faith we know this because the lord told us

The son of God teaching children of God about forgivness and thier father in heaven

“For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

but if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:14-15‬

We are believers in him it’s always hard for me to learn what Jesus the lord taught , then reject it and accept someone explaining why that doesn’t apply …..

“So if I do not repent`, then God does not forgive, Therefore by your words of interpretation “

your confised these aren’t my words of interpretation it’s what e lord and his apostles said clearly ….

This isn’t me interpreting it’s Jesus the lord speaking

“I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭13:5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

this is Peter the apostle

“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”
‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭3:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

this is Paul the apostle

“Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.

For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die:

but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:12-13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5:16, 19-21‬ ‭KJV‬‬

it seems like you may need to realize I’m quoting from words of Jesus and his apostles not interpreting just reading and accepting what it says

And yeah if we keep sinning and don’t repent we’re going to perish like the lord and his apostles told us ……as long as a person rejects tbat truth they wont find repentance and have grabbed onto this grace which isnt of God

“For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.”
‭‭Jude‬ ‭1:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I think it does matter if there's a multitude of unconfessed sins because those are not forgiven and shows a pattern compared to a single sin that shows a person follows God instructions to confess sins for forgiveness on a regular basis.

So God has multiple ways of dealing with unconfessed sins then?
