What has been...is what will be.

What has been done...is what will be done.

There is nothing new under the sun.
– Ecclesiastes 1:9

Continuing where I left off; here are a few more parallels...

The Creation & Corruption of the Bride (prophesied by Adam & Christ)

1. God caused Adam to fall into a deep sleep
1. Christ (the 2nd Adam) entered into the sleep of death (on the cross)

2. Adam's side was opened; out came a rib from his body
2. Christ's side was pierced open (by the soldier); out came blood & water

3. The rib was molded into a woman (i.e. “from the man”)
3. It is written that Christ's bride is covered by his blood who has the living water

4. The woman was named "Chavah" (not "Eve") which means "life"
4. The blood & water are the symbols of "life"

5. The man awoke & the woman became his bride
5. The Bridegroom awakes (from death) & ushers in kingdom w/the Church (bride)

6. The serpent corrupts Adam's bride & steals Adam's God-given kingdom
6. Christ’s Church (bride) is then corrupted by paganism & mystery religions.

The current condition of the church (as a whole) was foretold. Even the drama with Jacob, Leah and Rachel is prophetic of what we’re going through...

The Two Brides split by the Groom’s labor (prophesied by Jacob)

1. Jacob (called “Israel”) wanted Rachel but is given Leah for his initial labor
1. Christ (called “Israel”) was given his bride (the church) for the initial work he “finished”

2. Jacob works some more for Laban...
2. Christ ascends to God to “prepare a place” for his true beloved, New Jerusalem

3. Jacob finally received his beloved Rachel as his bride AFTER additional labor
3. Christ will come again to receive his New Jerusalem AFTER he’s finishes his additional work

It's pretty straight forward to see how this scripture prophesies Christ’s plan (again the italicized color is what MUST happen for fulfillment of scripture).

Christ desires New Jerusalem but was instead given The Church for now. Christ is then tasked with more work to receive his desired bride. We can go even deeper with this scripture’s comparisons for more prophetic details...

The Children of God from each bride (prophesied by Jacob's brides)

1. Leah ("Israel’s" first bride) had "poor eyesight", but birthed the most children (6)
1. Unable to see well, Christ’s apostles couldn't understand the timing of the kingdom (Acts 1:7), but through them gave Christ the most followers

2. Jacob was given bondmaids for more children (4), while beloved Rachel was still barren
2. Christ was given the gentile nations (bondslaves) for more followers; while New Jerusalem is barren as the world awaits "children of God" to manifest (Romans 8:9)

3. Rachel (the desired bride) conceived last, giving "Israel" the fewest children (2)..but they were his favorites.
3. New Jerusalem (Rev 21:2), the bride Christ wants, will birth last and give him the fewest "children" by comparison...but they will be his favorites.

Again, notice how the italics color is the conclusion that MUST happen based on how the story concludes, because scripture can’t be broken.

As with Jacob and his children, most of the children of God were given to Christ at the beginning, called "the lost sheep of the house of Israel". Then Christ spoke of sheep not of this fold (i.e. the gentiles) that are also his. Finally, Christ awaits his favorites; the children born of the desired bride, New Jerusalem.

Christ said not one jot is removed from the scriptures until ALL is fulfilled, and each of these passages in scripture proves that God is true to his word. But if this is the case; if everything in scripture not only is a fulfillment of prophecy but also prophetic for our time, until all is fulfilled (because there’s nothing "new" to do), then the following parallel I found is ALSO true.

The "Judgment" of the Church (prophesied by Christ’s passion)

1. Christ's body is broken during his scourging, like the bread he broke.
1. Body of Christ is broken into multiple denominations; many daily breads

2. Christ is blindfolded and doesn't prophesy when asked
2. Body of Christ can't see prophecy nor speak it accurately

3. Christ is given a crown of thorns over his head (thorns = "cares of world, riches & lust" Matt 13:22; Mark 4:18-19)
3. Body of Christ (as a whole) is more distracted by the cares of this world, attaining riches and lusts of things.

4. Christ is severely beaten until image is unrecognizable (Isa 52:14)
4. Because of persecution by the world, Christ's original image is no longer recognizable in Body of Christ as a whole

5. Christ is given a purple/scarlet robe to wear, depending on gospel (Matthew 27:27-28; John 19:1-2)
5. The Great Whore (meaning "unfaithful bride") wears purple/scarlet color in Rev 17:4

6. Christ is given a staff and mocked as an authority by Roman soldiers
6. Body of Christ is mocked as a religious authority by the nations

7. All sin falls on Christ and he becomes the serpent on the pole (Jn 3:14)
7. Body of Christ integrates pagan/mystery rituals & doctrines; falling away from the pure gospel

8. Holy Spirit of God leaves Christ during his crucifixion
8. No significant Holy Spirit miracles for Body of Christ during this time, unlike early church

9. JUDGMENT FALLS *ON CHRIST* FOR WORLD'S SINS, for God so loves the world.
9. TRIBULATION HAS & MUST FALL *ON THE BODY OF CHRIST* FOR WORLD'S SINS, because how can the world be judged if is doen't know the pure truth?

10. Christ was dead for 3 days/nights; and rose back to life on 3rd day
10. Body of Christ has gone to the grave for 2 days/2000 yrs (2 Pet 3:8) so far. The very next millennium is the 3rd day when we'll rise again.

The body has and MUST go through what Christ (the head) has gone through, as scripture says we must take up our cross and follow him...and scripture can NOT be broken. Christ is his body.

Because all of the above is true in this parallel, we can also correctly understand the name of The Great Whore: "Mystery Babylon". The word "mystery" = "secret/hidden" and the word "Babylon" comes from "babel" meaning "confusion". God is not the author of confusion, but with so many different denominations (over 3000) all with their version of the truth, the body as a whole is - indeed - confused [not to mention some of the body ACTUALLY babble incoherently when they pray (i.e. the infamous "speaking in tongues")]. This is prophetic scripture fulfilled.

Christ even said himself in Matthew 6:7-9...

And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. So do not be like them; for your Father [ALREADY] knows what you need before you ask Him. This, then, is how you should pray...
And then Christ teaches the lord's prayer, showing us that prayer is audible and clear.

But likewise, just as Christ did not come to judge the world but to be judged for the world (instead dispensing mercy), so MUST the body of Christ dispense mercy instead of judgment on the world because God's judgment falls on US first (1 Peter 4:17).

----

The scriptures are littered with prophetic parallels that we can use to draw sound conclusions on where we currently are in God's plan. It's all there in scripture if we have eyes to see. Feel free to comment or ask questions for clarification. More to come.
