MSNBC: Royal Baby? Parents’ ‘Feelings’ Say When Life Begins, ‘Not Science’ | CNS News

"MSNBC host Melissa Harris-Perry compared the hoopla surrounding the British royal birth to Texas abortion politics, and then offered her own definition of viability:
'When does life begin? I submit the answer depends an awful lot on the feeling of the parents. A powerful feeling – but not science,' Harris-Perry said on her show Sunday. 'The problem is that many of our policymakers want to base sweeping laws on those feelings.'"

There is no way around it. There are three aspects of life - Breathing, eating, and developing. Inside and outside of the mother, a baby has all three of those aspects. Feelings are fleeting. The life women carry is important. You don't know the potential they have. Those babies that have been aborted, they could have been so much....they could have contributed so much...and to think that they've been ripped out of this world from us. How can people in the government sleep at night, knowing that they not only legislated it, but haven't done barely anything to stop this monstrosity?

I'm not writing this to start a debate, or to take a swing at people who support abortion. I'm writing this to bring awareness to the fact that pre-birth abortion is bad enough, and it's only going to get worse. People don't even realize what they're for. They just know who they're against. The link to the video below proves just how bad things are going to get if people don't educate themselves.

Students Sign Petition to Legalize 4th Trimester Abortion - YouTube

Please guys, pray for our country, and for the babies' lives that are at risk of abortion, even after they're born.

(Considering I don't have 5 hours to watch a video, what part of the video do you think is the most important to watch? I mean, probably all of it is good, but as I said...don't have the time to watch that long of a video.)

Take it in pieces. It's very good for understanding the trajectory of western civ.

When you unhinge the planets from their orbits, where do they go?

They go out of control.
Yup. They go in pretty much any direction.

The madman jumped into their midst and pierced them with his eyes. "Whither is God?" he cried; "I will tell you. We have killed him---you and I. All of us are his murderers. But how did we do this? How could we drink up the sea? Who gave us the sponge to wipe away the entire horizon? What were we doing when we unchained this earth from its sun? Whither is it moving now? Whither are we moving? Away from all suns? Are we not plunging continually? Backward, sideward, forward, in all directions? Is there still any up or down? Are we not straying, as through an infinite nothing? Do we not feel the breath of empty space? Has it not become colder? Is not night continually closing in on us? Do we not need to light lanterns in the morning? Do we hear nothing as yet of the noise of the gravediggers who are burying God? Do we smell nothing as yet of the divine decomposition? Gods, too, decompose. God is dead. God remains dead. And we have killed him.

I've seen the commercials for MSNBC too many times...but I didn't think they were that nutso. Buuut yeah. I'm not posting the article because I'm surprised, it's because I want to bring awareness to just how far people are going, and just how much the media can and will try to influence us with their views.

Nietzsche knew his madness. He even paved the way for all of the nihilism we see today.

Wow, I watched 4 hours in one sitting, still need to finish it... But its honestly comparable to the screwtape letters... Where screwtape letters focus' on the inner self and how you sin and what not... This focus' on society and how we like to stray from God...

Thank you for this... Honestly a gem in my eyes (the video, your pretty close tho :p )

I like Schaeffer, but I'm surprised you like him since he's a theologian.

I still haven't gotten around to watching it. >.< I haven't forgotten about it, though.

But I do like the Screwtape letters... :D so I'll have to watch it soon. And finish the rest of the Screwtape letters (danged ADD...I start something and never complete it. -_-).

Yeah, but I think he was aware of what it meant.
He was very aware of what it meant. It's the ones who are sane enough to communicate harmful ideas who do the most damage. The crazy ones people usually don't listen to.

Nietzsche was a great philosopher, even though I disagree with his conclusions. He was also a deeply troubled man, despite what anyone may say to the contrary.

One time at band camp this woman was seeing planks and was not good enough to have faith and her husband had the last word. He knows jesus christ is onky worthy to open the seals. And a murderer just like an old name would. But e called ti me fransis. But he made anew fransis I am.
