Also, I just realized that I said "Grumpy can't" lol. If you didn't believe in Freudian slips before...

No pun intended, but I am claiming that copyright: Grumpy Can’t[SUP]©[/SUP]

In other news, the New England Patriots are facing more accusations this week of deflating...

...the Seattle Seahawks' egos. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

I wonder why some days are easier than others. I don't feel emotionally well today (I blame the Coldplay song I heard on the way to work).

I'm having brunch right now. Suuuper hungry. Having some leftover food from a small restaurant I went to for lunch yesterday. They had the best food there. Wanna know why? They had gluten free bread and vegan cheese options. And the vegan cheese actually resembles the taste of cheese! I was like, YESSSS. lol

I had some Indonesian food for lunch. It was pretty good! The restaurant gave me a few chili peppers on the side. Tiny things, they were. I thought to myself, "Cool, I like spicy food." I ate one...

Help.

Audition results are in -I actually got the solo I preferred, so I'm pretty happy about that - I think...too late for "auditioner's remorse."

In other music related news, an acquaintance with the youth symphony asked me to play with them because they are in a stew and need a horn player. I haven't been a youth for a while now, but it's not uncommon for them to have ringers. So I have a rehearsal tonight and the performance this weekend.

Speaking of stew - I had a gumbo for lunch. I was very disappointed. I don't think Californians even know what gumbo is! Barely any okra, no file in it to thicken, just a little meat and only chicken at that. Lackluster at best. If only I knew a CC peep from Cajun country who would love to experience a good etouffe or gumbo...*le sigh*

Also Southern Ca peeps - there is a chance I'll be headed your way mid March. I may be headed to Perris, Ca, and may also go through LA to visit my cousin in Carlsbad. Would love to grab a coffee and meet in person!

Yup, I read this as, "A horn player needed a good stew."

And at first I thought it might be some kind of newfangled internet slang...

Now I am jealous of all the cool CA CC'ers who are going to be meeting up. I could use a good stewing session, too.

I totally had a clip of Rachel20 singing something, and now it looks like the post is deleted. For why?!

P.S. You have a nice singing voice, Rachel!
