Southampton Football Club [Saints]

Everybody knows we English are football crazy.

We are the Saints, the original Saints as ever there was. We are struggling a little in the premier league this season.

We have never been a rich club or a top club but over the years we have furnished the premier league and world football with some of the most exciting players.

there are some good historic clips around of the late 80s when we could boast such players as Alan Ball, Charlie George. Mike Channon, Kev Keegan and Matt le Tissier.

Traditionally Saints beside producing young talented players was also a club which attracted many of the greats who came to play out their last few seasons. The 80s was a golden era for Saints.
